[My brief reflection on "the proper woman" book]

As we have already known that men are important in society. However, women are even more essential in order complete the other half. In every society men and women have to cooperate in all kind of work in order achieve the goal. Thinking to previous decade women somehow have been discriminated because some people have the wrong though for women in Cambodia. This text will discuss broadly how education is very important for Cambodia.

Why education is that matter

The need of education is very important for Cambodia girl because women are such a valuable demand to Cambodia society especially to their family as the mother. Conversely, in the past Cambodia women are worthless in having education base on the slogan mentions that “ women cannot even do all the household task”. This slogan is clearly shown that during that time women were being considered as the weak human beings comparing to the men. In reality, it was not an acceptable idea that people use to have on Cambodia.

How society portrait girls/women

Normally, in each family father is being considered as the master of the house who has to take the responsibility to bring up and take care all of the members in family. However, mother is the only person who is responsible to do the great deal of housework tasks. Not only that but women are also the big motivator for the children because there is only who women is able to stay next to the children, encourage and take care them most of the time. Thus, in this case education is very prominent for women especially mother because education is able become a great motivator in helping and encouraging them in more efficient way rather uneducated mother.

When they're well-equipped with education

On top of that, women play a vital role in developing the country. Taking such a great example of Margaret Thatcher, prime minister of United Kingdom who is also called as “ Iron Women”. Higher education can convert her to become such an influential and powerful women. The example of this woman can truly verify that women can also become a great leader or role model in the society like the men do. Surprisingly, women can somehow do more perfectly than the men.
